How to Prepare Your Chocolate Fondue
Preparing your chocolate fondue is easy and only takes a few minutes.
1. Melt the Chocolate (Bain-Marie Method)
Use a gentle water bath to melt the chocolate. Place the chocolate drops in a heat-proof bowl and set it over a saucepan of barely simmering water. Make sure the bowl does
not touch the water.
2. Stir Gently
Turn off the heat once the water is hot. The rising steam will slowly and evenly melt the chocolate. Stir continuously until the chocolate becomes smooth and glossy. This gentle method helps prevent the chocolate from scorching or seizing.
3. Pour and Warm
Carefully pour the melted chocolate into the fondue pot and place it over the candle to keep it warm and silky.
